The poem 'Celebrate Our Savior', by Joanna Fuchs, elaborates on the festival of Easter and its celebration. The poet says that on the day of Easter, the resurrection of Jesus Christ is celebrated in every family. She says that there has not been another person like Jesus in the world, who was so kind, sacrificial, and holy. Jesus was crucified when he tried to take people out from hell and help them rid of their sins. His resurrection from the grave was a happy moment for everyone in the world. Even today, the day is celebrated with all pomp and gaiety by people, in the form of Easter. People enjoy this festival and thank God for sending Jesus on earth. In the Easter poem, Joanna says that Christ's resurrection made everyone immortal and all of us would meet our king, i.e. Jesus Christ in heaven once we transgress from earth.
Celebrate Our Savior
On Easter morn, we celebrate our Savior;
Whatever people seek in Him, they find.
In history, there has never been another
So holy, sacrificial, good and kind.
His resurrection makes us all immortal;
In heaven, we’ll be together with our King.
Eternally we’ll share in all His blessings;
Happy Easter! Jesus Christ is everything!
