Death is one of the most brutal and harsh realities of life. While the deceased person is freed from the tensions and sorrows of daily life, it is his/her loved ones, left behind in this world, who suffer the most. They are never ever able to forget him/her and every special occasion bring back the happy memories, making them cry their heart out. In this poem 'Death Is', we get to see how death is viewed by a 12 year-old child. Rebekah Johnson, the poet, has explored death as a sharp pain that each and every one of us has to go through, at one point of time in life or the other.
