There are two schools of thought as far as death and life after death are concerned. Where one believes that there is no world after this world and death is the end, another school establishes that there is a world after death and demise is just a path to that world. The short poem 'Death Is Not The End', by Sri Chinmoy, interprets death as well as the world post-death. The poet portrays death as a road and life a traveler. The poem condenses the meaning of death in a manner that is concise, yet has universal appeal.
Death Is Not The End
Death is not the end
Death can never be the end.
Death is the road.
Life is the traveler.
The soul is the guide
Our mind thinks of death.
Our heart thinks of life
Our soul thinks of Immortality.
