Loving and caring parents get happiness from their kids, in the form of reciprocal love and respect. Children are very innocent and they forget their parents for any grave and abusive treatment easily. Both these aspects have been illustrated in the poem 'Love You Mom And Dad', written by Phillip Dalsing. Here, a son is asking for love from his parents, in return for the love he has for them. Usually, it is parents who love their kids unconditionally. In this poem, the kid wants his parents to love him as much as he loves them. Love is proportional in every relationship, and parent-child relationship is not an exception.
Love You Mom & Dad
Forgive you is what I'm gonna do
I love you mom and dad
So now I forgive you
Please love me like I love you
Is love suppose to hurt
Is love worth this pain?
Is love so freaking lame
Well I love you mom and dad
I love you with my heart
So don't pierce it with a dart
I love you mom and dad
Do you love me?
