My Sister, My Friend By Leann Stiegman

If helping each other is a trademark of friendship, then sisters surely count as more than friends. In the poem 'My Sister, My Friend', Leann Stiegman portrays her sister as her friend. She says that her sister is her best friend, just like an angel for her. She is full of intelligence and wisdom. She has a larger understanding of issues and problems and comes up with practical solutions as well. With the help of this poem, a Leann Stiegman pays a tribute to her sister, for being a great person and positive influence in her life. Having a sister is real bliss. She is a tutor, a sympathizer, and friend - all three combined in one person.
My Sister, My Friend
To me you are an angel in disguise.
Full of intuition, intelligent, and wise.
Always giving and helping through
Good times and bad.
You are the best friend I've ever had.
If I had one wish it would surely be
To give you as much as you've given to me.
Though I've put our relationship through some cloudy days,
You've been my sunshine in so many ways.
Through trials and tests, right by me you stood,
And gave me your hand whenever you could.
Thank you so much my sister, my friend
My gratitude for you has no end.
