Halloween is celebrated as a major festival in the United States and other western countries. Haunted attractions are part of Halloween celebration and these make the night a spooky one. On the night of Halloween, kids do all the trickery needed to scare the people around them. Some people also visit haunted places, dressed as spirits, vampires, etc. The poem 'Spooky Halloween Night',by a 12 year old girl - Atacia, shows that the night of Halloween becomes spooky, with so many kids dressed up like ghosts and witches.
Spooky Halloween Night
On a spooky Halloween night,
When Goblins and witches come out to fight,
When children go out to say "Trick or Treat",
When goblins and witches and people meet.
Around the town loud noises roar,
And when you hear the sound,
"Knocking" at your door.
Should you open it?
Should you be scared?
Trick or Treaters are everywhere!
But don't you worry,
And don't you fright,
Its only one day,
One evening,
It's Halloween Night!
